Carbon Footprint Transparency: Supporting Export Market Sustainability Requirements
Customer Requirements & Challenges
Tire-pressure sensors are export-oriented automotive components whose production relies on multiple energy-intensive machines. To meet European customers’ stringent carbon-footprint mandates, the manufacturer must deliver per-unit CO₂-emission figures. Traditional, manual logging and power-consumption tallying is labor-intensive, error-prone, and fails to satisfy international certification standards for real-time accuracy. In addition, the absence of a centralized platform for aggregating data from each switchboard leaves information scattered, reduces operational efficiency, and heightens the risk of uncertainty during export audits.
Product Configuration
DIN-rail Smart Power Meters × 6 sets
Intelli-EMS Solution Benefits
By installing six DIN-rail smart meters across three switchboards on a single production line—and pairing them with multiple 300 A smart clamp meters plus cloud-connected PLC gateways—the system builds a complete, real-time power-monitoring framework. Live energy data flow into the Intelli-EMS cloud “war room,” where product-level carbon emissions are automatically calculated and standardized reports are generated for European customer audits. This removes manual spreadsheet work while guaranteeing accuracy. In addition, the platform continuously tracks line-level energy use, giving managers the insights needed to drive efficiency improvements and process adjustments, thereby elevating export competitiveness and strengthening ESG compliance.
